BirdDog converters bridge existing SDI/HDMI gear and the NDI® network, in both directions. The range covers the 4K models (4K SDI, 4K HDMI, 4K QUAD), and includes the PLAY and PLAY PRO players that put any NDI® source on a standard HDMI screen, up to 4Kp60.

The SDI/HDMI ↔ NDI® bridge
Each converter encodes an SDI or HDMI source to NDI®, or decodes an NDI® stream back to traditional broadcast gear, up to 4Kp60 depending on the model.
A format for every installation
A compact box behind a display, a multi-channel chassis in the gallery, or a palm-sized player for a TV: the conversion adapts to the venue.
Built-in cross conversion
The 4K SDI and 4K HDMI models also cross-convert between 12G SDI and HDMI 2.0 on the loop output, on top of NDI® encoding.
Video, audio, tally and intercom travel over the same network cable, with PoE powering on most models: a single connection point to bring existing gear into the IP workflow.
